WEDDING GOWN

The Alta Moda Bridal

You’re once again going to have to indulge me as I write another blog post about staff. But, since you’ll agree and enjoy, I don’t feel any guilt about it.

Two years ago Jamie started at Alta MODA as our manager. Trust me when I say this is no small task. Her first task even involved traveling with the staff to an industry event out of state. Not really even knowing any of us, she handled it well and fit right in.

Alta MODA - Utah Bridal Shop manager

She came in with the opposites to my personality that the empty desk required. Her vision has led to many sharp and even playful improvements at the boutique. Her design background has led to amazing personalized sketches for redesigned dresses. (Have you had one of these made for your custom changes? If so, you know.) When she was flown to Atlanta for an Anne Barge training session, she and her diagram-like croquis (that’s the fancy clothing designer term for fashion sketch) were shown to other accounts from across the country as an example of excellence and ease.

Over these two years, we have seen her get engaged, married, find her curls, loose her bangs, love her family, train new staff, travel to NYC bridal market, put up with me, fall more in love with her husband, keep progressing as an interior designer, and now she’s about to move into a new home.

Those of you who have worked with her will agree and likely even proliferate on these sentiments; She is organized, friendly, lovely, fast-paced, well-dressed, well-spoken, warm, witty, and has an adorable (glossy topped) hubby.

Jamie, dear, thank you for giving Alta MODA (and me) two years…so far.
