Wedding Favors
My hope for this season and the next one is that Project Runway will ditch the corporate sponsored challenges and keep it simple. I hated the Hersey's challenge. Hated the Levi's challenged. And if the cast of season 6 ends up at Sunset Tan sewing bikinis, I am quitting the show.
This weekend we caught a glimpse of Project Runway season 4 winner Christian Siriano grabbing coffee in NYC. I was so excited, I starred for a full two minutes longer than what's considered socially acceptable. My outfit was all wrong for chatting it up with a fashion powerhouse so instead I made a note to wear more feathers and less cotton.
Meanwhile, Project Runway Season 5 will air on July 16th on Bravo but things are changing for season 6. Next season, the show is moving to Lifetime and will debut in November 2008. Most everyone that we know and love will be back for Season 5 including Heidi Klum, Michael Kors, Nina Garcia and Time Gunn, however, Project Runway is allegedly looking to partner with a new magazine for season six, which, by the way, will officially be taped in Los Angeles. Who knows which judges will make the cut along with the
Décor Collection Wedding
We've found that just about anything can be worked into wedding decor. But, surprisingly, many people in the last few years have built up strong feeling about (of all things!) balloons. Overseas brides-to-be still love them and About.com just had a nice article on decorating with balloons. But, we are just now starting to see more American weddings using balloons as part of the vintage/traditional revival. What do you think? Can wedding day balloons be used in a way that won't make you remember your high school prom?
